Mark as Useful This collection agency is a front operation primarily for the notorious Capital One. There is evidence that Cap1 may be parent company of ARS. For cardholders -- many of whom got fed up with: the jacked up interest rates even if payments received on time; soldiers deployed to Iraq believing Cap1 would make a record of their unavailability promising to retain their accounts "current"; indexed fees and made changes to consumers' agreements when clicking "I Accept" under the fine print terms of service required in order for cardholders to make online payments.

Mark as Useful I have received several calls from this number for a member of our staff. This time the guy hung up on me before I could finish telling him the employee he was calling for was out of the office. I suspect this is a Telemarketer. I tried to call them back just in case we got disconnected in error, but the recording came on saying this person has not set up voice mail.

Mark as Useful I got a voicemail from a guy who spoke with a heavy foreign accent (sounding like from India) saying he works for a fraud dept. and there is a complaint against me and it was urgent that I returned the call the minute I got the message. When I played the voicemail, it was very noisy in the background. Sounds like a scam to me.
